To fix the handle or the cable once you get the door panel off you should not have to remove any motors or anything to hard to remove. The trim tool just pops under the panel to pry out the clips if you pull the panel off without them you can either break the pieces that hold the clip or you just have to remove the clips from the door with needle nose once the panel is off.
